Competition 2011
2010 saw yet another very successful year for the FACE CREW UK
National Student Makeup Competition which produced 5 winners the
1st place going to Donna Graham from Skelmersdale College who won a
week’s work placement in LONDONS WEST END.
This is the 3rd year of this unique and exciting competition, we
have changed the Competition title to incorporate the Hair and Nail
Art Categories, also the competition is now open to -
•
Students studying makeup, hair, beauty therapy and nails over the
age of 16 from any learning environment public or private
•
Apprentices, trainees, interns
•
Makeup artists, hairdressers, beauty therapists, Nail technicians,
who have been working in industry for less than 18 months.
We have moved the competition outside of the academic year, as we
feel this is a stepping stone for students to learn to organise
themselves and what better way to start than enter this competition
independently.
The competition covers all aspects of Makeup also Fantasy Hair and
Nail Art.
We feel the UK should support its future talent in the makeup, hair,
beauty and nail industry and what better way to show off that talent
than creating a larger than life competition for all to see. |
The event will once again be judged by industry professionals and
broadcast through the media to reach a wider audience, who knows who
may spot your talent.
There are certificates
for all entrants and prizes for the winners, sponsored by high
profile makeup hair and nail related companies.

The Competition takes
place on
TUESDAY 12TH JULY 2011
at SKELMERSDALE COLLEGE
If you would like to enter please take your time to browse through
the competition categories and choose which you feel best suits your
ability.
There are 6 categories for you to choose from with limited spaces
per category, so to avoid disappointment we suggest you enter as
soon as possible.
The competition is located at Skelmersdale College West Campus,
which is less than 10 minutes from the M58, within easy access for
everyone North, South, East and West.
The venue has free parking is accessible from Ormskirk train station
and is on a number of major bus routes.
For visitors to the competition there is a shopping area within
walking distance for refreshments.
